Vanscoy is a village nestled in Saskatchewan within the Rural Municipality of Vanscoy No. 345. Situated at the junction of Highway 7 and Highway 762, it lies approximately 29 kilometers southwest of the City of Saskatoon.

Surrounded by natural beauty, Vanscoy enjoys proximity to Rice Lake to the west, Goose Lake to the north, and Pike Lake along with Pike Lake Provincial Park to the east.

Having attained village status on June 17, 1919, Vanscoy thrives as a community with diverse economic activities. Notably, the Agrium Vanscoy Potash Operations, a significant contributor to the local economy, produces an impressive 1,790,000 metric tonnes of potash annually.

Within close proximity, approximately 19 kilometers or 12 miles from Vanscoy, lies the Otapasoo Trails Recreation Site, offering recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike. Additionally, Pike Lake Provincial Park, located 16 kilometers or 10 miles southeast of the community, provides hiking trails, boating facilities, and a marshland conservation area.

In the 2021 Census, Vanscoy recorded a population of 477 inhabitants residing in 193 of its 206 total private dwellings.
