About this community

Established in 1905, the Village of Borden, Saskatchewan, is nestled 30 minutes northwest of Saskatoon and is currently home to 287 residents, residing in 126 out of its 140 homes.

Named after Sir Frederick William Borden, Minister of Militia in the Laurier Cabinet, the town boasts a rich historical connection. To the southeast lies the abandoned arch bridge, Borden Bridge, formerly carrying Highway 16 across the North Saskatchewan River.

Positioned approximately 5 miles west of the North Saskatchewan River, this community offers superb accessibility to larger communities while maintaining its quaint charm and close-knit community feel.
